Faced with his most disturbing case yet, Detective Superintendent Roy Grace tracks a serial killer in You Are Dead, by award winning crime author Peter James.

A series of young women – all beautiful, all with long brown hair – have been stalked and abducted. Each victim is found with a brand on their body, a marking that reads ‘U R Dead’. And some of their remains are from thirty years ago.

When Logan Somerville is taken while on the phone to her fiancé, Grace must find a lead, connect the cases and track down the killer before they can strike again . . .

Although the Roy Grace novels can be read in any order, You Are Dead is the eleventh thrilling title in the bestselling series. Enjoy more of the Brighton detective’s investigations with Love You Dead and Need You Dead.

Now a major ITV series, Grace, starring John Simm.

Eleştirmen yorumları

Peter James has penetrated the inner workings of police procedures, and the inner thoughts and attitudes of real detectives, as no English crime writer before him. His hero, Roy Grace, may not be the most lively cop, nor the most damaged by drink, weight or misery, but he's one of the most believable
Peter James is one of the best crime writers in the business (Karin Slaughter)
James just gets better and better and deserves the success he has achieved with this first-class series
Meticulous research gives his prose great authenticity . . . James manages to add enough surprises and drama that by the end you’re rooting for the police and really don’t know if they will finally get their men

Don't know how Peter James does it, his books just get better and better! A great story, love the characters, I always feel like I know them personally. As usual, I can't wait for the next Roy Grace book.

Another fantastic read!

I love getting a good bargain, this was in the daily deal, so I was well impressed!

Roy Grace is back, still tired from moving house and looking after a 5 month old. His team is getting smaller after losing a close detective friend and another being ill, but that doesn't stop his superiors pushing for success.

A serial killer is on the loose, seemingly copying Ted Bundy by brazenly taunting the police. Can Roy find him before it's too late?
