When Godiva winds up in the hospital after being poisoned on a TV cooking show, her twin sister Goldie hops on an Alaska Airlines plane and rushes to her side. The sisters' zany romp through the world of celebrity TV chefs begins when Goldie's daughter Chili is hired by the star of the show. Rivalry turns to murder in the midst of the glitzy Gourmet Gladiators Tournament . The cops arrest Chili's new boss, Chef Caesar Romano, but Godiva has other plans for the handsome chef....

Goldie and Godiva are twins who live in very different worlds. Goldie Silver, an aging flower child, runs the Silver Spoon Antique Shoppe in Juneau, Alaska. Rich, manipulative Godiva Olivia Dubois authors her syndicated advice column, "Ask G.O.D.", from her Beverly Hills mansion. When Goldie finally receives a lost shipment of antique Russian tea urns, she realizes they are not the ones she ordered. The samovars sell quickly, but murder and mayhem follow each of the new owners.

After Godiva's son Torch buys a condo in Las Vegas, his grandmother Flossie and great uncle Sterling decide to pay him a visit. When the old vaudeville magicians drag him to the Pageant of Peacocks starring sexy Mara the Magnificent, it's love at first sight. The romance blossoms, but when Torch returns from a meeting in LA, Mara seems cold and distant. Torch turns to his mother, the advice columnist, for a helping hand.

It’s trouble at sea when eighty-year old Flossie and Sterling Silver, former Vaudeville magicians, are invited on a relaxing cruise. Goldie’s husband, Captain Red Pepper, has arranged for her mother and uncle to sail on his ship, the Aurora Borealis, and mingle with magicians during the Magic on the High Seas cruise. Goldie thinks it’s a great idea and her twin sister, Godiva, sees it as a chance to keep the old folks out of trouble while she spends time with her new boyfriend, Dexter Diamond.
