A surprise gift to Roz from a man who claims to have known her mother years ago proves to have a chequered past. Roz can't resist investigating, but the fruits of her efforts turn out to be less than beneficial. Blackmail and bribery ensue and if Roz won't succumb, her own, Guy's and his children's lives look set to be ruined.
