A Story of Courage, Faith, and the Power of Love Against All Odds. Heroes aren’t born; they are shaped by adversity. In the midst of racial tension and societal challenges of the 1970s, Pat and BJ Magley defied the odds. Their love—once condemned by family, society, and even the law—became the foundation of a mission far greater than themselves. Pat, a white man with dreams of playing in the NBA, and BJ, a Black woman with an unshakable spirit, fought against the racism that sought to keep them apart.

The concept of my new book is an overall recap of my life journey... but the primary mission in this particular project is to share specific things (components) that helped me persevere through some of the most unthinkable obstacles! I also shared components from 3 amazing individuals; their stories have elements within their journeys that are parallel to some of the things I went through, thought about.. and had to overcome.
