Julian Harrow and Christian Thorne are now Vampires! And both young men have been united with their Masters after trials and tribulations. But if they thought that becoming Vampires was dangerous and exciting, being the fledglings of the exiled Lord Balthazar Ravenscroft and the Vampire King Daemon will blow that out of the water. Because both Balthazar and Daemon have enemies that are intent on making sure that they and their new fledglings are given their Second Deaths.

Vampires are real. At least that’s what Julian Harrow and Christian Thorne are trying to prove with their YouTube show. But as they uncover the truth, the beautiful monsters they seek, are also seeking them. Lord Balthazar Ravenscroft, the roguish Vampire with the ability to read minds, finds himself drawn to Christian, determined to protect the boy, even as his quest to uncover the truth puts all of Vampire kind in danger. But worse, as Christian and Julian have discovered the Ever Dark, the Vampire’s secret world, where they risk waking the most powerful, deadly Vampire of all.

While Julian and Christian have been struggling to understand what their new Vampire lives will be going forward, they haven’t counted on their prior human lives being much more complicated. But that’s exactly the case as Christian’s parents come to dinner at Ravenscroft Manor. But the boys are not the only ones finding out that their pasts are going to interfere with their presents. Balthazar is struggling to accept that he is the Immortal Eyros reborn. But he may not be the only other Immortal that is back… or maybe never left.

Even as Vampire King Daemon extends his reach and restores his incredible power in the Vampire World, his enemies continue to move against him. Meanwhile, Julian and Christian are learning more about their powers and just what this Second Life as powerful Vampires means.

Vampire King Daemon has returned! Now he must gather his allies even as his main enemy makes their move against him. Will he be able to win over the hearts and minds of the Vampires he left behind so long ago? Will people like Balthazar, who have suffered in his absence, be able to believe—and more importantly—trust in him again? Even as Vampire politics heat up and the danger increases, Julian and Christian must deal with some of the practical problems of becoming Vampires themselves. Things like whether or not they tell Christian’s parents that they are now lords of the night.

The undead are unquiet! Beset on all sides, Julian and Daemon must face off against an army of zombies. Christian, Balthazar, Caemorn and Fiona have their hands full with ghosts. The Immortal Kaly is not giving up their fight against the Vampire King anytime soon, but neither is Daemon going to back down from regaining what is his.

In this epic conclusion of the first Ever Dark serial, Caemorn realizes who he truly is. Balthazar must confront the one that hurt him most. Fiona stops running. Julian and Christian accept their places in the Vampire World. And Daemon? He will be king of all…
