By 2042, the Indian Ocean no longer slept. It moved quietly, deliberately, woven together by thousands of autonomous machines that skimmed the surface, plunged beneath the waves, and hovered in the salt-slick air. From orbit, the ocean no longer looked empty or blue but threaded with green: vast lattices of seaweed farms growing where open water once lay unused. They called it the future swarm.

This segment of my Breakfast Planet series isn’t about Space Force it’s more about a comet and all the things it sees. I hope you enjoy this chapter of my audiobook production project as much as I have enjoyed creating this dream I have. It may even spark your imagination about what the future holds for 2069.

With technology changing, the things science fiction writers can change, as you will notice in the difference in technology from my first book written in 1995 and this one completed in 2020. Cut a long story short, it’s a short story.
