My grandmother was an unintentional feminist who did what she wanted, didn't ask for permission and, according to her "was just the right amount of stupid to succeed". She also raised me (or, "took me over" as I usually say it...I was definitely a cost-center on her P&L) from the time my mother passed away two weeks after my ninth birthday.
