Investing is truly not hard. There’s no reason to be afraid of it; a lot of people make fairly steady incomes off of it, and a lot more have made heaps of money. I’m not promising you’ll become a millionaire; however, if you keep learning, apply yourself, and have a knack for it, you very easily could become one. Remember that you most likely aren’t going to become a millionaire just by buying and selling stocks. However, you aren’t going to bottom out and go bankrupt from it, either. It’s really not as scary as I’ve managed to make it seem!

Most players struggle with AK due to small leaks in their strategy. So Optimizing Ace King (OAK) doesn't look to give you a bunch of memorized plays and tactics. Instead, OAK shows you how AK fits within your strategy and ranges. This prepares you for playing AK, among other hands, in a variety of spots and under a variety of conditions. James "SplitSuit" Sweeney and Adam "W34Z3L" Jones co-wrote this book to take an in-depth look at poker strategy through the lens of a single hand. Concepts include 3betting, 4betting, cbetting, barreling, GTO vs. exploitative play, and more.

Building wealth toward retirement and finally enjoying the fruits of decades of labor seems more difficult these days. Maybe it’s because of inflation (higher prices) for health care, education, costs of living, rent, and so many other necessary expenses. When our parents were working, big and stable pensions were the norm. If you worked hard and stayed with a company for many decades, you would be rewarded with a hefty pension. Well, unfortunately, those days are over. Companies are cutting costs anywhere they can to show better profits.

A hugely entertaining career autobiography from a true legend of Welsh rugby and a genuine cult figure. In rugby there are the Flash Harrys and the Glory Boys: the fly-halves who run, kick and dazzle; the scrum-halves who nip and dart; the wingers who step and glide. These are the players who get the crowd on their feet, who set stadiums abuzz. But they only get to do these things because other, less glorified figures do all of the donkey work. Adam Jones is one such figure.

Penguin presents the unabridged, downloadable, audiobook edition of Kid Gloves, written and read by Adam Mars-Jones. When his widowed father - once a High Court judge and always a formidable figure - drifted into vagueness if not dementia, the writer Adam Mars-Jones took responsibility for his care. Intimately trapped in the London flat where the family had always lived, the two men entered an oblique new stage in their relationship.
