Anthony Tucker-Jones is a highly successful military historian and defence writer. He is the author of over 50 books, many of which have been translated into foreign languages including Czech, Dutch, Finnish, Polish and Russian. Always in demand he has worked with Arcturus, Bloomsbury, Greenhill, Osprey, Pen & Sword and The History Press. Anthony has also had over 500 articles and features published in print and online with numerous publications and outlets. For many years he was the terrorism and security correspondent for intersec - The Journal of International Security and freelanced for Channel 4 News. He holds a bachelors in history and a masters in international relations and strategic studies. Amongst his bestsellers are Slaughter on the Eastern Front: Hitler and Stalin's War 1941-1945, Kursk 1943: Hitler's Bitter Harvest and D-Day 1944: The Making of Victory. His recent books include The Devil's Bridge and The Battle for the Mediterranean. Anthony's latest work Churchill Master and Commander: Winston Churchill at War 1895-1945 was published by Osprey at the end of 2021 and launched in America with the Churchill Society of New Orleans and at the US National WWII Museum to critical acclaim.
