The story of Mojud which Osho introduces here is one of the greatest stories. It has that special flavor that only a Sufi story can have. It is incomparable. It is not just a story; Sufi stories are not just stories. They are not to entertain, but they are teaching devices.

Paramatma nikat me jana jata hai. Nikat ko pahachanne ka marg hai prem. Anuman nahi, tark nahi, jab prem me doobkar tumhara hriday geet gungunata hai tab tum paramatma ka anubhav karte ho. Paramatma anuman nahi, prem ki pratiti hai.

Charitra ki badi sundar mimansa hai is pravachan me. Aam taur par ham charitra use kahte hai jo bahar se aropit hai. Aisa charitra kitna hi majabut dikhai pade, kisi bhi kshan toot sakta hai. Asli charitra bhitar nirmit hota hai aur bahar phailta hai; jiski jaden svabhav me chipi hai.

In Osho’s understanding Zen is the approach to religion that has not put fetters on mankind. These four talks pay homage to Zen’s reverence for life and its celebration of the everyday. He sees in Zen a seed, pregnant with infinite potential. Interspersed with his comments on anecdotes about the Zen masters Rinzai and Fuketsu, Osho addresses current issues. Zen says that if you want to find truth, you have to seek. Zen also says don’t seek, because then you won’t find. Kathinayi chaahe prem ke panth ki ho ya dhyaan ke maarg ki, pandhrah pravachanon ki is prashnottar pravachanmala mein Osho ne sabhi prashnon ke atyant saral aur subodh samaadhan diye hain. Shero-shaayari aur kavitaon se bharpoor ye pravachan panth ki saari kathinaayi ko door kar ek nayi subah ki tarah hamein abhibhoot kar lete hain. Osho kehte hain: 'Main to dekhta hoon ek naya suraj, ek nayi subah, ek naya manushyaa, ek nayi prithvi - vah roj nikharti aa rahi hai.

In the ordinary course, being “out of your mind” is not a positive statement being associated with a person who is out of control and not able to take care of himself, perhaps even harmful to others.

In this talk, Osho answers questions about caring, compassion and service to the community. He also speaks about self-acceptance and awareness as transformative tools.

With modern media, there is an impression that this world is becoming more chaotic than ever before. However, according to Osho’s understanding, the world has not changed but remains the same: upside down, crazy, insane. The fact that in the last 3,000 years humanity has fought 5,000 wars is evidence enough but what has changed is an awareness that we are crazy, that something is basically wrong with humanity.

There are three kinds of problems - those that you create – they are almost ninety per cent of the problems of your life. You create them and you go on saying that you don’t want them. Ninety per cent of the problems simply disappear when you are in a meditative state – because you can see. And by seeing, you stop creating them. Ninety per cent will be solved; nine per cent will not be solved by your meditation but will be dissolved because they will not concern you at all.

We all feel sometimes like a stranger to ourselves, with uncomfortable feelings of having lost direction in life, feeling insecure and missing a kind of authenticity and centeredness in life. In a society where ideals of eternal happiness and beauty are dominating our life around the clock and being sad looks like failure.

Being loose and natural will give you a spontaneous awareness, rather than making an effort to reach a certain goal. No effort is going to succeed because the cause of all misery is the doer, the ego, our idea of self. Osho only teaches awareness. Suppression is not the way to buddhahood. Simply relax and be whatsoever you are - and awareness will come by itself.

Astik aur nastik ki bahut anuthi paribhasha kar rahe hai Osho. Jivan me andhera hai aur prakash bhi hai. Andhere par koi ruk jaye to nastik, andhere ko pahachan kar prakash ki khoj me nikal jaye to astik.

Ahankari vyakti pratipal isi hisab me laga rahta hai ki kis tarah se mere ahankar ko jyada sahara milega. Akad kar khada rahu, kisi ke samne na jhuku, chehre ko bilkul patthar ki murti bana lu, isase milega? Ya phir vinamrata se labh milega to vah vinamar hone ko bhi taiyar hai. Is ahankar se bachiye, yah maharog hai.

Is pravachan me Osho hamare sthapit mulya par chot karate hai. Ham adarsh ko mahan maante hai lekin Osho ke anusar adarsh thothe hai kyoki ve udhar hai. Adarsh bahar se thope jaate hai, bhitar ki samajh se nahi nikalte. Adarsh ka arth hai ham jaise nahi hai vaise banne ki koshish karana. Yadi jivan ko janna hai to apne antas ko khilne de. Samanya ko mahatva de, vishisht hone ki koshish na kare.

While nonviolence is a philosophy to Mahatma Gandhi; it is not a philosophy to Osho, but an experience. Osho talks about his understanding of reverence for life, he does not use the word non-violence.

Yah ek prashnottari hai jisme Osho sadhako ke prashno ke uttar dete hain. Prashna vyaktigat jeevan ke sambamdh me hain. Inke uttar me Osho apana najariya rakhate hain ki jeevan ko ek utsav ki tarah jiyo, bojh ki tarah nahi. Anand dhyaniyo ki jati honi chahiye, hanste khelte jeeyo. Anand hai atma- anubhav, utsav hai us anubhav ke liye astitva ko dhanyavad. Jo dhyan ki aankh kholenge unake liye poora jeevan utsavmaya hoga.
