Operation First Strike is coming to an end. It has succeeded in buying the Human Federation of Worlds valuable time to prepare for the coming invasion. Disaster has struck the Human Federation of Worlds. The Eternals have finally found Earth and are preparing to destroy it and the rest of the Federation. They begin gathering a massive fleet to overwhelm and destroy all of the human worlds. Fleet Admiral Jeremy Strong is far away on the far side of the universe attempting to build an alliance to stop the Eternals’ spread across countless galaxies. However, in his explorations he may have found a threat far greater than that represented by the Eternals.

The invasion continues as the Jatarians make their way across the galaxy, destroying everything in their path. As the enemy attacks Falton Two, a new weapon is used. What does this mean for the battle? Will this be the edge the Jatarian need to take over the entire galaxy? Will the remnants of the Confederation stop the enemy invasion? The cryosleep chambers are beginning to fail. Surveillance of Hocklyn space has revealed that the Hocklyns are thirty years ahead of their projected schedule and will soon reach human occupied space. War could break out any day if something isn't done. The human leaders suggest a daring plan to buy them the additional time they need to strengthen the Fleet, as well as the defenses protecting their worlds.

Deep in the Confederation, Rear Admiral Fulmar heads toward his mission of destroying all Lamothian planets. As long as he can avoid the large Lamothian fleet, he can accomplish his task. If only the Lamothians had heeded High Princess Layla’s warning to stop their barbaric feasts where humans are the delicacy consumed, then perhaps things would have turned out differently. Across the Dyson Spheres, the search continues for sleeping Originators who can be awoken from stasis to aid in the expanding war. The Eternals are convinced they are the most intelligent and powerful race in the universe and should rule.
