This audiobook illustrates that God answers prayer every time we pray in truth and faith. It is intended to encourage everyone to pray and believe.

This audiobook contains 20 stories of hope from those (including the author) who have chosen to rise out of hardship and challenge into joy and service to others. The use of baking powder as a symbol for the action-agent or catalyst for the "rising" process originates from the author's great-grandmother's incredible biscuits, all symbolic of a transformation made possible by that "magic ingredient" and the life-giving bread that resulted. These stories carry the unique Appalachian context of the author, which flavors her own experiences and her interpretations.

I have experienced four “near-death experiences” in this lifetime on Earth. The story begins at the end of my life in 2017 and recounts my history as a child abandoned by my mother, raised by a nanny during the 1950s. Having imaginary friends who were angels guided and directed to become the spiritual leader I am today.

My first therapist told me I needed a witness, and here this date, 25 September 2022, the Lord spoke unto me that He was, in fact, the first witness to my story, and as He then witnessed my story back unto me. He then did compel me to write first for the healing of myself and then for the healing of others so they, in turn, can witness to others the power and healing contained within God-therapy that was first given unto me and is now available for all who have need, which means you, for that's how much He loves all of us to His glory.

The old Earth will soon collapse, and the new one will be replaced as the New Earth. People on Earth will soon be divided into two groups. It will be recorded in the history of mankind as a "Life before 2020" and "Life after 2020." This book's purpose is to acknowledge the dangers of staying in the past and thus never reaching to the Golden Earth. This book leads you on how to function and walk to an unknown path in an easy language understood by everyone regardless of age and their knowledge about the current situation and what is coming in a very near future.

One theme that echoes throughout this book is that God had been preparing me for a personal encounter with Him. I recounted how things were during my childhood years. Through a series of circumstances, He set the stage and laid the foundation so He can in the future shape me into whatever form He wishes. In almost all of these testimonies, it’s clear that He (El Shaddai) wanted me to understand what I can be through Him. He guided me through endless crucibles, all for the purpose of allowing me to see His greatness and His ability to transform my life.

In this book, I share my unique life experiences. Having been born on the Navajo Indian Reservation, I understand the hardships the people have to endure to survive in a third-world environment in the United States. At age six, I attended a boarding school run by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. I was then taken in by a white Christian foster family at age nine, attending predominantly white schools. I had to make mental adjustments between two ways of life.

In “Carry Your Cross” the author, Robert Lyon, shares his testimony on how his world was shaken and stirred and flipped upside down because of breaking one of God’s commandments, honor your mother and father at the age of 14. Because of the effects from the guilt and shame, Robert’s descent into darkness was initiated, beginning with his alcohol and drug addiction. Without a spiritual life there was no light, no future, no hope. Only to live in darkness. With no ambition or respect for himself, he can only identify himself of what he knows best, and that is his through his pain and suffering.

God has inspired me to write this book, The Enemy Will Try to Steal Your Purpose. The enemy is designed to steal your purpose. This book will show you how to fight off the enemies’ attacks. If you have God on your side, you could never lose in life. Amen. God has designed us to win in life. The enemy sees your purpose early on. His mission is to destroy every aspect of your life. I know that it is rough out here in this world today with the enemy running rapid. But we all need to come together as one to stop the enemy in his tracks. Amen.

Life doesn’t come with an instruction manual. We are all born with different circumstances and opportunities and learn from our mistakes and experiences. The knowledge and wisdom gained are invaluable and make us stronger in mind, body and Spirit. Chris details navigating obstacles of alcohol and substance abuse, severe depression, heart break and loss from a long term relationship, being near bankruptcy and just about wanting to “throw in the towel” altogether.
