In “Carry Your Cross” the author, Robert Lyon, shares his testimony on how his world was shaken and stirred and flipped upside down because of breaking one of God’s commandments, honor your mother and father at the age of 14. Because of the effects from the guilt and shame, Robert’s descent into darkness was initiated, beginning with his alcohol and drug addiction.

Without a spiritual life there was no light, no future, no hope. Only to live in darkness. With no ambition or respect for himself, he can only identify himself of what he knows best, and that is his through his pain and suffering. The only way to deal with his life is to continue using drugs and alcohol for over three decades.

Because of living an inadequate lifestyle, he unintentional invites the darkness into his life. Soon, a trap was set for Robert to walk into and was seduced by two quartz crystals, that contained a power inside. Having access to the quartz crystals opens many doors of the unknown, and unexplainable interactions of the spirit realm. Without any protection, the darkness and evil spirits invaded his life, trying to destroy his good heart.

Considering Robert couldn’t help himself, God intervened, giving him an opportunity to begin his spiritual journey, starting with being guided by his guardian angel.
