The Spirit-filled life is a lifelong adventure into the depths of God's Love. Jesus is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, desiring to inundate everyone who comes to Him with Living Water from His Well, which never runs dry. He is waiting at the Well for anyone who will come, just as He waited when he met the Samaritan woman at Jacob's Well many years ago here on Earth. He said to her, "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

No one book or work of art can ever depict all of reality. Each individual artist brings their own interpretation to the truth, but there are facts of life that cannot be denied. The best thing you can do is improve the thought of someone in need of healing, much like giving a cup of cold water to the thirsty. Give others hope.

I am a romanticist, a dreamer, a positive thinker. I see the world as a place to flourish and do better. I am sure, we are here to love and to be loved. Love is what I look for in a sea and sky and star. Love is what I look for in all that things that are.

The poems in this book are designed to inspire the listener to see Christ and let them know that with Christ, all things are possible. Finding that inner peace while fighting loneliness when it appears peace is nowhere to be found. Making God the focus in your loneliness will give you that peace. Finding the spiritual courage to lead your team when it appears the world is falling apart around you. We should all be Aiming to Reach The Inner Self (A-R-T-I-S). Let the battle begin!

As we travel through life every day, we are faced with situations or celebrations that require some type of response—written or verbal. When this happens, it leaves little or no time to rush to the card outlet, going from aisle to aisle trying to find just the right card that will convey our deepest thoughts, usually resulting in the selection of slightly bent or smug finger print cards. We could spend hours upon hours picking our brains or perhaps walking the floor all night trying to find those special words for that special person in our lives. Till now, that was a problem.

Bernadine's many different poems and short stories are a collection of her thoughts and her many encounters in her life. She now lives in Canton, Ohio, with her husband Mark of soon to be nine years. She has no children of her own, but Bernadine has helped many along the way to remain off the streets.

The lyrics came from the Lord Jesus in the Holy Bible. I have had these poems since 2015. He would wake me up at different times during the night with lyrics. While I was cooking, hanging out with friends, I would stop in the middle of whatever I was doing and jot them down. The last poem I remember was February of 2018, and then in July that same year, I said to the Lord, "You haven't given me any poems lately," and He replied, "You haven't done anything with the ones that I have given you." That is when I mailed them in to Christian Faith Publishing in August 2018.

The title of my book is one of the poems entitled Life Is Too Short. I added "to Waste" to give the title a more significant meaning. People are getting killed every day at a very young age and a fair number of people were dying of natural causes, and I am sure they have not accomplished their goals when they were killed. I have many pieces in this book, and I hope each and every piece will be comfort and enjoyment to my listeners. This is my second poetry book.

Our experiences in life could teach us various lessons - may it be getting out of addiction, accepting one's self, embracing one's inner child, being alone and peaceful, falling in love, getting wounded a thousand times but coming out stronger, and other messages from life's intricacies....

Gateway to More of Him was written for the hungry heart and for those who want God’s word to come alive and are crying out for a deeper walk with him. Centered around his word, these poems tell a story of our need for more of him. Always challenging our hearts not to be lukewarm and our hands to keep them tight on the plow, not looking back. Realizing God’s plan for every believer is to be conformed to the image of his son.

The meaning of my writing is to decorate the heart of my friend readers and listeners with beautiful moments of life - love, hope, happiness, psychology, and smile. You are my inspiration. You reflect me to sweeten my mind in order to write beautifully for life and for you with love. I wish the poems will touch your souls as you listen to them and feel the height of psychology. The poems are life, enjoyment, and energy - but above all, love, the most important part in our lives.

I Wonder, Can You See Me? was birthed through life's trials, tribulations, success, joy, and God's liberation. It is a collection of inspirational poetry that set me free, which allows me to share my journey with those who are wondering if they are seen and, most of all, with those that need to see within. I found myself through this journey when I realized God was and is with me always. God allowed me to see myself through my darkest hours, he walked with me when I was in dry places, he whispered to me when I was in the lowest valleys, and he held me in his arms when I was on the mountaintop.

After the loss of my wife, Michele, in April of 2020 (we were together for fifty-six years), my heartache overwhelmed me. While in a hospice therapy session, I learned one method of healing was to write poetry and to date each one to show the progression of your healing. These poems are a result of that. I hope they help you possibly as much as they helped me.

Plunging into darkness, you look for a lifeline. I came forth from the mental hospitals fighting; drugged and almost committed for life. Flashbacks and putting the pieces together, memories unearthed. Unwanted are the memories, yet they come, crying out to God to not be forgotten. The mental system is designed to lock one in without recourse. And then comes the realization that to be alive is to breathe the air without restraint. To know that after the journey of waiting, my truth has set me free. I am Hilary Nili, and I survived.
