War stirs in the distance, out of the edges of thought. Trouble brews through the land even though a great evil has been quelled. Garek is a traitor to his kind. A minotaur that has given up war. An example must be set. A horde marches for these lands to claim his life.

When Warren married the love of his life, the beautiful cartographer Zadrabeth, they left their mercenary company behind and settled down to a quiet life of farming and raising children.
