The Freakin‘ Pilot from Blue Skies Mag talks to some of the worlds premiere, as well as lesser known skydivers and extreme air sports athletes to get their take on living life to the fullest, their paths along the Lunatic Fringe, and how they fit into the mainstream world while living life on the dark side.It’s just as much if not more about why we skydive, parachute and BASE jump as how, and it’s endlessly entertaining to climb inside the minds of those living a life less ordinary.

The Lunatic Fringe Book is a collection of all 10 years of monthly articles written for Blue Skies magazine by Dean Ricci, a.k.a. The F***in' Pilot. Blue Skies magazine was the rebel publication. It was the new start-up that went out of its way to try to challenge people, entertain them, piss them off, make them think, keep them safer, and more than anything, embrace the amazing lifestyle that skydiving can offer to those who join its ranks. It talked about events and subjects that were borderline taboo not in the sport and the industry and in the culture.
