Susan Denise Atkins (May 7, 1948-September 24, 2009) was an American convicted murderer who was a member of Charles Manson's "Family." Manson's followers committed a series of nine murders at four locations in California over a period of five weeks in the summer of 1969. Known within the Manson family as Sexy Sadie, Atkins was convicted for her participation in eight of these killings, including the most notorious, the Tate murders in 1969. The following interview is from 1978 while Atkins was incarcerated at the Central California Women's Facility in Chowchilla, CA.

Richard Ramirez (February 29, 1960 - June 7, 2013) was an American serial killer, sex offender and burglar whose killing spree occurred in Greater Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area in the state of California. From April 1984 to August 1985, Ramirez murdered at least fifteen people during various break-ins, with his crimes usually taking place after dark, leading to him being dubbed the Night Stalker, the Walk-In Killer, and the Valley Intruder.

Gary Leon Ridgway (born February 18, 1949), known as the Green River Killer, is an American serial killer who was convicted of murdering forty-nine women between 1982 and 1998 in the northwestern United States. Most of Ridgway's victims were alleged sex workers or other women in vulnerable circumstances, including underage runaways. At the time of his arrest on November 30, 2001, he was believed to be the most prolific serial killer in United States history, according to confirmed murders. Kenneth Alessio Bianchi (born May 22, 1951) is an American serial killer, kidnapper, and rapist. He is known for the Hillside Strangler murders which he committed with his cousin Angelo Buono Jr. in Los Angeles in 1977, as well as for two more murders in Washington State as the sole perpetrator. Bianchi is currently serving a sentence of life imprisonment in Washington State Penitentiary for these crimes. He was also at one time a suspect in the Alphabet murders, three unsolved murders in his home city of Rochester, New York, from 1971 to 1973. Bianchi was most recently denied parole in 2025.

Roger Reece Kibbe (May 21, 1939-February 28, 2021) was an American serial killer and rapist known as the "I-5 Strangler". Kibbe found all but one of his victims on freeways around Sacramento, California. In 1991, he was sentenced to 25 years to life imprisonment for the death of Darcie Frackenpohl. On February 28, 2021, in Mule Creek State Prison, Kibbe was strangled to death by his cellmate.

Nannie Doss, born Nancy Agnes Hazel (November 4, 1905-June 2, 1965), was an American serial killer who confessed to the murders of 11 people—four husbands, two children, one of her sisters, her mother, two grandsons, and a mother-in-law—between 1927 and 1954. Doss was also referred to as the Giggling Granny, the Lonely Hearts Killer, the Black Widow, and Lady Blue Beard.
