Marcus’s children are maturing faster than he anticipated. He’d hoped he would have the majority of Earth culled by now, but he’s still fighting the Space Agency while he cements his financial control. Unfortunately, the government idiots seem hellbent on destroying every living thing on Earth with space dust. Can Marcus create a plan and stop the humans from killing themselves before they force Marcus to find a fourth planet for his growing family?

The homeless shelter is renovated and ready to open just in time. They have less than a month of blood bags left, but circumstances on Earth have proven more challenging than they expected. Marcus hopes that moving them deep into the woods outside Beach City will provide them the shelter and safety they need to create their food and start Clan Carboni.

Marcus, Shadow, Oliver, and Alera are making progress on their takeover of Beach City, and they are starting to expand into Ocean City. So far, the majority of humans seem to be oblivious to the slow takeover of Earth by the vampire off-worlders, and that’s only working to Marcus’ advantage.

Earth's sky is now purple, and the humans have noticed. It's not a rare sun effect or a trick on the eyes, and rioters demanding answers have appeared on the streets of Beach City. Marcus is less than thrilled, and has vowed not to put up with that behavior on another planet.

Marcus has had it with the Space Agency and the flying chunk of experimental metal they said was a fully-functioning, state-of-the-art spaceship. The ship has had nothing but problems, and the Space Agency has done nothing but try to strand them out in deep space. Marcus is beyond angry, and he will do something about the Space Agency and Area 51 with Shaodw, Alera, Oliver, Lucia and Captain George's help.

Marcus' clan is growing, the children are hatching, and the homeless shelter is becoming profitable. In fact, it's so profitable that he's opening a women's shelter behind his homeless shelter so that he can start live food production, but Marcus' unfinished business on Umbra and Chivitas is starting to come back to haunt him, threatening the existence of his current family.

Shadow, Marcus, and their friends made it to Earth, but they still have a food problem. Earthling blood isn't palatable, and they only have a two-month supply of bloodbags. Marcus must find a way to distill Earthling blood and create a long-term food supply that will feed them and their growing vampire families while not alerting the humans to their presence.

Marcus, Shadow, Oliver, Alera and Lucia are on their way to Chivitas then Umbra after a stop at the Deep Space Space Station. Unfortunately, hostile code has been detected in the computer systems. Can Marcus and his family stop the code and delete it before they get to Umbra, or will they be forced to build another spaceship in an attempt to get back to their children on Earth?
