Yesterday Crumb is no ordinary girl. She was born with fox ears that have cursed her to a lonely life working in the circus, and her origins are a complete mystery. Yesterday Crumb is determined, brave and nearly ready to defeat a formidable foe: Mr Weep, the Lord of the Dead. Reunited with her beloved Dwimmerly End - a magical walking teashop - apprentice tea witch Yesterday and her friends begin to search for Mr Weep's weakness. Except the dark influence of a strange flower is taking hold of Yesterday's friends and allies, turning them cold-hearted and pitting them against each other. As the flower's effects spread further, Yesterday needs to save her friends and rally the magical world to overcome Mr Weep's dark reign.

Das Wilde Gelage findet endlich wieder statt! Es ist der größte magische Wettbewerb in ganz Europa und Faye Fox und ihre Freunde fahren nach London, um das aufregende Spektakel anzuschauen. Als jedoch der reisende Teeladen samt seiner Besitzerin, der Teehexe Miss Butterling, geschrumpft und vom Meisterspion des Hofs der Lichtfeen gestohlen wird, muss Faye an dem gefährlichen Wettkampf teilnehmen, um Dwimmerly End zurückzugewinnen.

Faye Fox wurde mit Fuchsohren geboren und ihr Leben lang als Hauptattraktion im Zirkus ausgestellt. Erst als die Teehexe Miss Butterling sie in ihrem magischen Teesalon als Lehrling aufnimmt, scheint ein Traum wahr zu werden. Faye ist nun täglich umgeben von zuckrig-leckerem Gebäck, verrückt-zauberhaften Zutaten und skurril-lebendigem Geschirr. Und sie findet neue Freunde, darunter den vorlauten weißen Raben Madrigal. Doch der böse Mr Gram will, dass Faye ihm ins Reich der Toten folgt – und er wird alles dafür tun, dass es so kommt.
