  • The State of Labor and The State of Jefferson (We're Sorry)
    Feb 20 2026

Brendon and Ronnie continue to watch as much Olympics as possible. Meanwhile they don't watch the NBA All-Star Game at all. In the second half, the two toe the line between the optimism of Spring Training and the pessimism of MLB's looming labor talks. Along the way, the two find perspective in this crazy world through the Lunar New Year, try to figure out how pumps help with the aerodynamics of skiing, and try to pinpoint when the NBA All-Star Game stopped meaning something. Brendon thinks Monobob is a funny Olympic event name, worked out once that Barry Zito used to make $10k a pitch, and gives an amazing Costco Hot Dog hack. Ronnie is loving that former Devils announcer Bill Spaulding is at the Olympics, blames LeBron James for his waning Lakers fandom, and addresses the rumors that Blake Snell is the weakest guy at the Dodgers' Spring Training camp.

  • Ends & Odds
    Feb 13 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are enjoying themselves through the first week of the Olympics, with the Mixed Curling event being a highlight. They are also reveling in the week where pitchers and catchers report to start MLB's Spring Training by looking at every team's over/unders for wins. Along the way, the fellas discuss Lindsey Vonn's tragic end to her Olympic games, wonder if Klint Kubiak would call his hiring to be the Raiders's Head Coach a demotion, shower a lot of love on MLB Network's Big Inning. Brendon is using a Field of Dreams for his Little League practices, tells a positive sports gambling story, and hates MLB's de-emphasis on intra-divisional games. Ronnie is a professional who values Brendon's time, is amazed to have seen a backflip in competitive Olympic Figure Skating, and says a nice things about the Giants.

  • Midnight at the Olympics
    Feb 6 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are excited for the lighting of the Olympic torch in Milano Cortina! However, first they have to talk about the results of the Royal Rumble and the upcoming Big Football Game for the NFL. Along the way, the fellas wonder about Groundhog's Day and global warming, think having to call the Super Bowl other nicknames is stupid, and claim Curling the Baseball of Winter Sports. Brendon is back for another season of Little League coaching, drops a Sol Snatcher's worth of admiration for Sol Ruca, and low-key loves all of the Skiing events. Ronnie explains his theory for the lack of surprises in the Royal Rumble, likely makes another ill-fated six-pack bet, and low-key loves the Biathalon.

  • Sprinkles Are For Winners
    Jan 30 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are deep in the numbers this week. One meaningful football game left, a second straight Grand Sumo Tournament win for Aonishki, two 30-person Royal Rumbles, and a half filled with so many baseball statistics it would get Jayson Stark verklempt. Along the way, the fellas talk about all the thirst trap characters in insurance commercials, how we've entered a dystopian age of live sports and streaming services, and cool down by talking Hot Stove. Brendon teaches everyone how to read a slash line, believes the Hall of Fame is doing a disservice to the history of baseball, and outlines why changing positions isn't as easy as it sounds. Ronnie lost his 6-pack bet for the NFC Championship, makes some Royal Rumble predictions, and wonders if the Mets are suddenly good after a flurry of moves.

  • Heavy Meta
    Jan 23 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are celebrating the milestone 100th episode of the show!! To mark the occasion, the fellas re-listened to their first episode and get meta about their journey with podcasting. But, of course, they also manage to talk about baseball. (And some NFL Playoffs, too.) Along the way, the fellas watch the NFL coaching carousel spin, make a classic Six-Pack Beer Bet, and ponder just what happened to SportsCenter. Brendon is annoyed that the Broncos are his last hope, tells a great Buster Posey story, and (big surprise) watches a lot of sports. Ronnie dislikes any professional team that plays at Lumen Field, doesn't quite know how to feel about Baseball overall after the Dodgers signed yet another expensive player, and pulls back the curtain on why he ends every episode the same way... with a different send off.

  • Flags, Football, and The Other Football
    Jan 16 2026

Brendon and Ronnie talk about the goings-on of the English Premier League, the crazy Wild Card weekend for the NFL, and spend some time in a rabbit hole for the F1 racing flags. Along the way, the fellas agree that legacy hires have some epic misses, make picks as they read through the World Cup draw, and debate if the Yankees will make a managing change soon. Brendon is looking to get back to his home disc golf course, reveals how many pounds Manchester United has paid former managers in dead money, and continues to lament the way the NFL Playoffs are seeded. Ronnie forgets this isn't a podcast for The Office for a moment, mixes up Hal and Hank Steinbrenner, and thinks this is the best season for the Bills to seize a championship.

  • Bowl Seasonings and Football Spices
    Jan 9 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are putting a focus on football as both college and pros start wrapping up seasons. Along the way, the fellas discover that college bowl games don't really die, think math of the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs is embarrassing, and drop a handful of deep cut books written by African American authors. Brendon has many mayonnaise-based puns, sneaks in some Sumo Wrestling chat, and tells us about how his son accidentally made a Dad joke. Ronnie has a knack for making up real-sounding bowl games, already has ideas for John Harbaugh's next job, and sparks what might be one of the longest and nerdiest tangents to date.

  • The Return of Prediction Speculate-tacular
    Jan 2 2026

Brendon and Ronnie are bringing back one of their first annual traditions -- making bold predictions for the new year and picking the champions for everything from the Stanley Cup to Formula-1 to the World Cup. Along the way, the fellas wonder if a superteam is brewing in the WNBA, try to figure out the name of an unannounced NBA team in Las Vegas, and each pick the Dodgers to win the World Series (for very different reasons). Brendon is looking ahead to the 2026 NFL Season, dying to make more Winter Olympic predictions, and sees big things happening in Sumo Wrestling. Ronnie jumps off the deep end when talking about the Super Bowl, believes the NBA will revive a "super" team in Seattle, and thinks the Stanley Cup will be decided in an early round of the playoffs.
