About Amy Tostenson I've been in healthcare since 1999 and a nurse for the past 20 years. Seeing our healthcare system as broken and a business makes it difficult to advocate for patients. I take a holistic approach. I care for the whole person: mind, body, and spirit/soul. The rising of the phoenix represents rising from the ashes, rebirth and full transformation. The name has personal meaning to me. I came from a childhood full of adversities that led to many destructive behaviors. I have myself risen from the ashes into a fulfilling life with peace and true happiness. I specialize in trauma healing and maintaining recovery from addictions. I want to work with anyone who is feeling stuck and simply wanting more out of life. It is my passion and purpose to help clients REBUILD Confidence, REIGNITE Inner Strength, and RISE into a life of clarity, purpose, and true happiness. I also write and do speaking engagements. I will be publishing my autobiography within the next year. I am on the platform Sub Stack where I publish a weekly newsletter and have a podcast that also airs on YouTube and Spotify. Baxter is an advanced practice registered nurse and a board certified gerontological nurse practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), who resides in Anderson, Indiana. Mrs. Baxter has been a registered nurse for over twenty years and a nurse practitioner for 17 years in the areas of mental health, gerontology, and health education. She is the owner of Baxter Professional Services, LLC, a consulting firm which provides legal nurse consulting services for attorneys and insurance professionals; wellness and chronic disease management coaching; and customized educational and operational resources to healthcare organizations. Mrs. Baxter teaches stress management strategies to clients of all ages and offers virtual as well as online classes. She is listed as an Alignable Local Businessperson of the Year in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. She is the founder of The Nurse Shark Academy® where she coaches nurses to launch and scale their businesses.
