Welcome to The Kori Leigh Show.

I’m Kori — a recovering alcoholic, 9 years sober, a mom, a woman who has walked through addiction, divorce, grief, mental health battles, and the kind of darkness that either takes you out… or forges you.

I know what rock bottom feels like.
I know anxiety that grips your chest.
I know the obsession to escape.
I know what it’s like to burn your own life down and still wake up the next day.

And I also know recovery.
I know surrender.
I know what happens when desperation meets God.

Sobriety didn’t give me a perfect life, but it gave me a real one. One built on faith, spiritual discipline, personal responsibility, and the daily choice to suit up and show up, even when it’s uncomfortable.

This podcast is for the person who’s done pretending.
The ones who knows something has to change.
The ones who is tired of reacting from emotion and wants to start responding from conviction.

Here, we talk about:

  • Recovery and sobriety without romanticizing the pain

  • Faith without performance or bypassing

  • Resilience, boundaries, and self-respect

  • What it actually takes to weather the storm and come out rebuilt

You’ll hear raw conversations, unhinged truths, hard-won lessons, and stories from people who have been to the depths and chose to rise anyway.

God meets us in the mess.
The storm passes.
And who you become in the storm determines everything.

If you’re willing to do the work — welcome.

As we say in recovery:
Find the similarities, not the differences.
That’s how we heal.

  • 60. Staying Present in the Ashes | The Hard Part After Boundaries
    Apr 9 2026

You don’t owe everyone access to you. But what no one talks about is what happens after you set the boundary.

    Join PRESENCE Presale

In this episode, we talk about the part that comes after you leave the relationship, get sober, set the boundary, or change your life, its the in-between phase. The uncertain, uncomfortable season where everything feels quiet, scary, and unclear. I call this the “ashes” or the “soup” phase. This is the part where the caterpillar turns into soup before it becomes a butterfly.

This episode is about staying present in that phase, because that’s where most people go back, relapse, sabotage good things, or numb out just to escape the discomfort.

What we talk about in this episode:

    • Why you don’t owe everyone your presence or access
    • What boundaries really are and why they change your life
    • The hardest part is what comes after the boundary
    • Staying present in the “ashes” and uncertainty
    • The caterpillar turning into soup before becoming a butterfly
    • The seed needing darkness before it grows
    • Why people relapse, go back to toxic relationships, or sabotage good opportunities
    • My experiences with an abusive relationship, sobriety, divorce, estrangement, and heartbreak
    • Why tools and support are necessary in the in-between phase
    • Turning pain into growth and not interrupting your own miracle
    • Choosing the butterfly again and again

  • 59. Stay in Action | Winter Ends, Spring Comes, & Life Rebuilds Again
    Apr 2 2026

Sometimes letting go isn’t losing… it’s making room for what’s next.

In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show podcast, I talk about what “let go and let God” has actually meant in my life, not as a quote, but as something I’ve had to live through. Sobriety, separation, co-parenting, health scares, heartbreak, and seasons where life didn’t look anything like I thought it would. And yet, with time and hindsight, I can see how those endings were also making room for something new.

This episode is about trusting the season you’re in, staying the course in the in-between, and remembering that sometimes what feels like everything falling apart is actually life rearranging itself.

What we talk about in this episode:

    • The shift from winter to spring as a metaphor for letting go and new beginnings
    • What “let go and let God” has meant in real life, not just in theory
    • Major life pivots like separation, co-parenting, sobriety, and health scares
    • Looking back on rock bottom seasons and seeing how life rebuilt
    • Staying the course when you’re in the uncomfortable “in-between” season
    • Taking action, even when you don’t fully understand the plan
    • Trusting that endings often nourish what comes next
    • Practicing faith in the ordinary, everyday parts of life

  • 58. When You're Given a Chance to REBUILD… Be Wildly Obsessed with Doing Something With It
    Mar 26 2026

Sometimes the life you’re living now is the one you prayed for when everything was falling apart.

Here’s exactly why you can’t stay consistent (& here is how to fix it)

If you’re ready right now… REBUILD Presale is OPEN!

In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show, I look back on some of the chapters that could have taken me out — abusive relationships, divorce, alcoholism, self-harm, suicidal depression, and the painful separation I walked through in 2025. And yet somehow, through therapy, recovery, faith, and a lot of small daily decisions, life slowly rebuilt itself into something I once couldn’t imagine.

This episode is about remembering how good life can get on the other side of rock bottom and why staying the course through the storm matters more than you think.

What we talk about in this episode:

    • The years I spent worrying about purpose and how my uncle’s advice that “God has a plan” eventually proved true
    • Walking through multiple rock bottoms and getting sober
    • The foundations that helped rebuild my life: therapy, recovery, and faith
    • Surviving a ruptured appendix and finding deeper gratitude for life
    • Why boundaries, discipline, and small daily actions matter during rebuilding seasons
    • How storm seasons can eventually lead to a life more beautiful than you imagined
