Sometimes letting go isn’t losing… it’s making room for what’s next.
In this episode of the Kori Leigh Show podcast, I talk about what “let go and let God” has actually meant in my life, not as a quote, but as something I’ve had to live through. Sobriety, separation, co-parenting, health scares, heartbreak, and seasons where life didn’t look anything like I thought it would. And yet, with time and hindsight, I can see how those endings were also making room for something new.
This episode is about trusting the season you’re in, staying the course in the in-between, and remembering that sometimes what feels like everything falling apart is actually life rearranging itself.
What we talk about in this episode:
- The shift from winter to spring as a metaphor for letting go and new beginnings
- What “let go and let God” has meant in real life, not just in theory
- Major life pivots like separation, co-parenting, sobriety, and health scares
- Looking back on rock bottom seasons and seeing how life rebuilt
- Staying the course when you’re in the uncomfortable “in-between” season
- Taking action, even when you don’t fully understand the plan
- Trusting that endings often nourish what comes next
- Practicing faith in the ordinary, everyday parts of life
