Well that is the Game!

What a Grand Final to end a spectacular season. The Co Op Live in Manchester was bouncing with over 8,000 netball fans cheering on their teams as AO Manchester Thunder beat last years Champions London Pulse to become not only the 2026 NSL Champions but also can now claim to be one of the most successful teams in UK netball history with 5 titles equalling Team Bath.

A game that had us on the edge of our seats with momentum swinging with every minute that passed. In this episode, we take a look at the game and talk about the moments that won and lost the game for each team.

This week, the Vitality England Roses Commonwealth Games squad was announced, a squad that was what we thought would be announced but why no Alicia Scholes? Should she have been picked? Should Gracie Smith have been taken?

Our first guest is Northern Ireland Warriors Head Coach Sheonah Forbes who talks to us about her 2026 Commonwealth Games Squad which was announced this week. Kelly catches up with Sheonah to find out more about the Warriors and their goals and aspirations for the coming years.

Our second guest is London Mavericks replacement player Sophie Egbaran who has also played for Birmingham Panthers this season. Kat talks to Sophie about her journey in netball and her love for her religion

We hear about how Amy started playing netball and her journey through the North West Pathways accumulating in her captaincy of the senior team at Manchester Thunder. We find out about Amy's debut for the England Roses and her role at the 2023 Netball World Cup in South Africa.

Off the court, Amy work as an A&E doctor as she balances the pressures of sport and her career which in itself has its own pressure points.
