  • 🎙️ Ep 39:Midlife Body Renewal Strength, fascia health, and reshaping the body (without extremes)
    Jan 25 2026

    Send us a text

In this episode of Off-Limits, I sit down with Joey Atlas, creator of The Truth Atlas on YouTube, for a candid conversation about the midlife body and what actually works when it comes to strength, confidence, and feeling good in your skin again.

Joey is known for cutting through fitness noise, especially for men and women navigating midlife changes. Together, we talk honestly about why bodies respond differently after 40, how muscle and fascia play a major role in shaping and rejuvenation, and why strength is one of the most overlooked tools for confidence and beauty.

This conversation goes beyond workouts or aesthetics. We talk about cellulite without shame, sustainable movement without extremes, and learning to trust your body again instead of fighting it.

We also touch on authenticity, aging openly, content creation, and why simple, consistent approaches often outperform trendy fixes.

If you’ve felt frustrated by your body or confused by conflicting fitness advice, this episode is meant to bring clarity, relief, and encouragement.

In this episode, we talk about:

    • Why midlife bodies need a different approach
    • The role of muscle and fascia in reshaping the body
    • The truth about cellulite and body texture
    • Strength as a pathway to confidence and beauty
    • Sustainable movement without punishment or extremes

🎧 Thank you for being here, and if this episode resonates, I hope you’ll share it with someone who needs a healthier, kinder approach to strength and aging well.

    Lots of Love,

    Ellen Roers

  • 🎙️ Ep 38: Aligned or Misaligned in Love? 20 Questions for Dating, Marriage, and Singlehood
    Jan 21 2026

    Send us a text

In this episode of Off-Limits, I share 20 questions I now ask myself quietly and internally before letting someone into my life. These are not first-date questions, and they’re not meant to interrogate anyone. They’re meant to help you stay aligned with yourself.

While I share these reflections through the lens of dating and singlehood, these questions truly apply to everyone. Whether you’re single, dating, married, partnered, divorced, or simply in relationship with yourself, alignment matters.

I’ve grouped the questions into themes including intention, boundaries, emotional availability, identity, growth, and solitude. Together, they offer a grounded framework for reflecting on how you show up in relationships and whether you’re choosing from peace or pressure.

I also share why I value singlehood as a season of alignment rather than avoidance, and how clarity can often be kinder than chemistry.

A downloadable version of all 20 questions is available in the show notes for reflection or journaling. You can revisit them monthly or quarterly as a personal check-in.

I also give a preview of the next episode, where I’ll be interviewing fitness expert Joey Atlas about body confidence, strength, and navigating physical changes in your 40s and beyond.

This episode is an invitation to slow down, reflect honestly, and choose alignment over rushing.

  • 🎙️Ep 36: Love Over the Checklist: The Box Theory, Materialists & The Fall Guy
    Aug 31 2025

    Send us a text

What really matters in love — the checklist or the connection? 💭

In this Wisdom Wednesday episode of Off-Limits, Ellen dives into the new film Materialists (Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans) and The Fall Guy (Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt) to explore how modern dating often feels like a spreadsheet of “must-haves.” She shares personal stories from her younger checklist days, her Box Theory on true love, and the lessons learned when chemistry and connection outweigh paper-perfect résumés.

    ✨ Takeaways:

    • Why connection beats checklists every time.
    • The role of self-love and worthiness in finding (and keeping) love.
    • Questions to ask yourself if you’re single, dating, or in a relationship.

Because at the end of the day, love isn’t about the restaurants, the résumés, or the paychecks. It’s about who you’d still choose in the box.Lots of love,
    Ellen
