This is a podcast co hosted by Sabrina A Calderon and Melissa Navarro that spread the message of being an intersectional group of artists creating a platform to learn, advocate, and explore our own opinions and how cultural identity shapes all opinions whether it be a conscious or subconscious. In addition to this proposition, Calderon and Navarro will have individual segments in which they speak about their own personal perspectives as young Latina women living in America. Calderon will deconstruct the latino norm and find a formula to add emotional intelligence to the traditional mindset. Progressiveness does not mean stripping away morals if anything it enhances and upgrades cultural rituals. Calderon says being uncomfortable forces one to either grow or reflect. Navarro will address topics regarding love, spirituality, sense of self, culture, mental health, advanced emotional intelligence, men in a woman's perspective, growth mentality, healing, passion, and art to EDUCATE. Education leads to questioning, questions lead to change, and change leads to uncomfortability and that is what people hate most. Our podcast allows people of different backgrounds to come together and learn how to find a common ground (through communication and questioning point of views) so we can start a conversation that everyone can at least semi agree with to REALLY make a change!Copyright ¡OYE! • #10- Generational Differences
    Dec 21 2021
Just because, we as a society, are progressing doesn’t mean we forget our core values and morals. Just because this generation is experimenting at a velocity never experienced before; doesn’t mean we sacrifice our dignity for likes, attention, clout, temporary value, or admiration. We must also progress our traditional values-not leave them behind. We must acknowledge that (to a level) those traditions brought us to what we are today. There is also a whole generation behind and we must share ur knowledge not just forget about them… If we do, then are we really using our progressiveness for the good and servicing? Hear Melissa and Sabrina attempt to deconstruct Generation Z’s Pro and Con’s. Are we building too much and too far down with no established foundation? Have we forgotten to say No? Are we progressing and thinking about the next generation or just thinking about ourselves? On a brighter note, this is a generation that thinks with the heart vs the mind. Emotional intelligence has sky rocketed; however, world wide people are only replicating the exterior changed not internal..how do we start sharing the positives this generation has to offer? How do we begin to build stability in a realm that has been experimental for 20 plus years? We are no longer guinea pigs and if we don’t acknowledge the negative impacts and build limitations around a system that is infinite and constantly evolving may we end up destroying ourselves? TUNE IN AND HEAR THESE LOCAS TALK TO FIND SOLUTIONS!

  • #9- Men Vs Women
    Nov 22 2021
We must accept our biological differences in order to construct an equal world where a woman can progress being a woman. Meaning, a female should not have to sacrifice her feminine qualities and adopt more masculine characteristics in order to succeed and be respected in today's society. An equal world is when a woman can be respected for who she is and succeed by a woman's qualities...not how "male dominant"she is on the masculine spectrum. We have different qualities, neither sex should change their qualities in order to gain respect or attention. Sabrina talks about emotional intelligence, value, and how to accept our differences in order to unite and become a generation of love and acceptance. Right now, we are "progressing" but most derives from sacrificing feminine energy. This generation believes everything is temporary and replaceable... Let's understand our brains, so we can conversate to solutionalize rather than argue and convince sexes that one is right or wrong.
