We always think of self-care as doing a positive action to help support our sense of wellbeing. But turning things down, being able to say no, and setting your own boundaries is just as important, or maybe even more so.

Decision fatigue - the burnout from making a lot of decisions over the course of a day - can gradually gnaw at you and wear you down, often without us realising it.

Making decisions takes brainpower and energy so the fewer we have to spend time and energy on, the easier it is for us to manage and the fresher we keep our minds.
