    Dr. Michel Philippe Lerebours’ influence on Haitian culture has been exceptional and far-reaching thanks to his work, his teachings, and his writings. He is an art historian, a writer, a museum curator, an archaeologist, a researcher, a playwright, and an educator. Dr. Lerebours has a doctorate in Art History and Archeology from Sorbonne University in Paris. In a career that spanned decades, he had many responsibilities, including director of the Musée d’Art Haitien du Collège St. Pierre, its curator, and Head of the National School of the Arts.
