 You might not have heard of Zohran Mamdani, but last week he took New York by storm to win the city's Democratic primary, beating establishment figure Andrew Cuomo and put himself within touching distance of becoming the city's next mayor.
So who is he, how did he do it and why do some people view him as so controversial?
