  • Ep 20 Holystoning and Apprenticeship
    Jun 26 2026

A good solid foundation for everybody in everyline of work starts with Theory meeting practise via an Apprenticeship. I have applied it to learning the ropes in management, as do large corporate family owned companies who put their wards through the drill over several years before they are tasked with responsibility and leadeship. Much the same way as Doctors go through internship and house surgency. Most Engineering students these days however progress from school to an MBA and then IT companies and never soil their hands.

  • Ep 19 Listen to your body
    Jun 12 2026

We hear but dont listen. We look but dont see.We listen to doctors, or google ailments or issues, we depend on popping pills and some physio treatment BUT do we ever listen to the body ?? When light aches that are persistent speak out are we conscious. Do we try figuring out the causation rather than heading for the temporary cure ??If we only listened to the body speak and then used some common sense and applied it, many niggles would disappear and one would be more comfortable. Dont be in denial - you are the best judge of your body nobody else.

  • Ep 18 Complacency and recognising it
    May 29 2026

More often than not it is human nature to get complacent especially when their functions, responsibilities and duties are routine and monotonous. This complacency gives a false sense of confidence and bravado leading to errors, near misses and accidents. many lead to disasters. It is important to recognise the signs and accept while working on it rather than dismissing something so important .

In this episode,I narrate my experiences and thoughts on the subject

There are several who come up with an idea and want to start a company and become entrepreneurs as it seems like a simple route to recognition, wealth and achievement. The reality is different when business cycles, finances, dealing with humans and collection of monies owed come into play. I share my personal thoughts on the subject after running 4 companies and 25 years of entrepreneurship.

  • Ep 16 : Introspection and looking back
    May 1 2026

In our daily lives and rat races, how often do we pause, reflect, purge and re-set our minds. Consistently preoccupied with tomorrow we are continuously engaging our brains. Never giving it rest. If your physical self needs a holiday so does the brain and mind.

I discovered the two exercises narrated in this episode very purgative, recuperative and restorative.

  • Ep 15 @ captjun : Allopathy HI vs MI
    Apr 17 2026

The patient is also a customer. Doctors visits in the present day are often more stressful, not only because doctors have lost the personal touch of disarming and getting the patient to relax, but also due to the lack of the old diagnostic skills that were once the cornerstone of General practise. Then more often than not there is the long list of tests to oil the working of laboratories and to ensure the use of equipment. Have modern doctors become more Machine dependent ??
