• Summer in 168's
    May 15 2024

Join Coach Chris to talk about how to break your summer into 168's.

How can you make the most of your summer, so when the first bell of the new school year rings you and the youth in your life will look back with a smile and be grateful for the memories created and the goals achieved.

Summer is on our doorstep, which means a lot for youth and families.

    • The number of hours in the week (168) won't change, but the flexibility in how to spend them will - spend them intentionally!

    • Remind the youth in your life of the many opportunities before them. What can they try, experience, create, and do with their summer?

    • Help them learn to budget their time - especially this summer - to be in favor of the goals they have for their journey. Remember this is best taught by what you as the trusted adults in their lives model for them - how will you budget your and your family's time this summer?

As always, if you have questions, topic suggestions or guests you'd love to hear on Growing Up, email us; questions@leadershipharbor.com

A question to ponder as you go through your week from April, how do we choose to spend our cup of energy?

  • Do It Through The Awkward!
    Apr 10 2024

Join Coach Chris & Sandy Higgins, Owner of The Cracker Jack Shack.

They talk about so many things that you don't want to miss this week. Starting with her cadence from when she taught middle/high school - "I Am A Winner!"

What to do with lacking self-confidence and self-worth in today's youth and even for us. Relationships are key, and how simple words can make a lasting impact.

There are times in life with youth, in business, and at home when we know what we need to do that we just have to do it through the awkward. We need to get comfortable asking for help and knowing it's okay!
