    Christina McKay is a mum, a passionate Hypnobirthing Practitioner and a lover of all things birth, beauty and babies.

    Christina’s first traumatic birthing experience gave her the drive to help women and their birth partners have positive, empowered and involved birthing experiences. Christina became a Hypnobirthing Practitioner in the early stages of her second pregnancy and went on to use the tools she learnt to have an incredible healing and powerful birth.

    Christina openly talks about how she suffered from PTSD after her first birth, which on paper looked like the ideal birth. She talks about her experience and how she got the help she needed to process it.     In episode 9 with chat with Maria is a mum of two small kids. Originally from Ireland, Maria and her husband immigrated to Melbourne in 2011 and now call Australia home. Maria, is a parent coach and founder of Reaching for Calm.

    After experiencing burnout when her first child was just one, she realised the importance of prioritizing her own wellbeing to create more harmony in her family life. Maria's experiences as a parent led her to grow and evolve in the wellbeing space.

    Motivated by her own experiences as a mum, Maria pursued certification as a parent coach. Her passion lies in supporting fellow parents who may be facing similar challenges, helping them discover a healthier balance and deeper connections within their families. She lives by the words “its about connection not perfection", hence the name of this episode.
