She's a Thai-born drummer, Juno-nominated producer, and composer based in Montreal. And she's coming home to perform at Bangkok World Music Day 2026!

In this episode of Next Station, we sit down with Salin, the artist behind "Rammana", an album that blends afro-jazz, funk, and indigenous Thai instruments into what she calls "Afro Thai Funk". We talk about her journey from Bangkok to Montreal, how she discovered jazz, soul, and Afrobeat through Montreal's African diaspora, her influences, from Fela Kuti to Paradise Bangkok Mo Lam, and what it means to bring this music back home to Thailand.
