With Week 9 in the Canadian Premier League now in the books, the CPL Newsroom presented by Volkswagen is back as usual to recap some major shifts in the league table.

Halifax Wanderers are on the board with their first win of the year, while Pacific FC climbed to the top of the table with a gutsy win at Forge FC. York United, meanwhile, stretched their unbeaten run to five with a win over Atlético Ottawa on Pride Night, while Cavalry FC took all the spoils over Vancouver FC at home. Plus, Halifax head coach Patrice Gheisar joins Kristian Jack to discuss his side's big day on Saturday.
