This was worth finishing, as I started to engage with his vision by the end. It was more than a tad sycophantic and ‘aren’t I great at repeating the obvious’ however there was method in his ramblings. By the last third of the narrative, I believe that it changes my thinking, beliefs and mindset. Not quite a revelation; but develop of a theme. Worth a listen if your/teams performance has plateaued. A twist on the standard mindset to achieve goals.

I have read the physical book of both this and relentless as well as listening to the audiobooks. Two of the very few books I will come back and forth to read several times a year. They both resonate with me. Cannot recommend them enough. Loved hearing the authors in between the narrator - would have preferred Tim Grover to read the entire book. I could listen to him all day long

This will be a classic so better read before others or at least while others are too, you can be sure that the man that trained Michael Jordan for 15 years knows about winning and what it takes, Relentless is Tim Grovers previous book and absolutely essential reading too, no one tells the unpalatable truth like Tim Grover and Shari Wenk
