Summary

Einst war der Erzähler John ein gestresster Manager, heute führt er ein ausgeglichenes und glückliches Leben. Während einer Radtour auf Hawaii erinnert sich John an den Tag vor zehn Jahren, der sein Leben radikal verändert hat. Damals war er zufällig auf das Café am Rande der Welt gestoßen. Und obwohl er sich nun an einem völlig anderen Ort befindet, Tausende Kilometer entfernt, sieht er es plötzlich wieder. In dem Café begegnet er der attraktiven Jessica, die unglücklich mit ihrem Leben ist. Eingebunden in ein stressiges Arbeitsleben tut sie das, was andere von ihr erwarten, hat dabei aber ihre eigenen Ziele und Wünsche aus den Augen verloren. John wird zu ihrem Mentor und hilft ihr, sich auf den Sinn ihres Lebens zu besinnen.

hat man das erste Buch gehört, kann man es kaum erwarten das 2. zu hören.
Ebenfalls sehr bewegend.

Ein gutes Buch, aber weniger gehaltvoll als das 1.

ich finde es immer ich ein gutes Buch, aber es ist nicht so gehaltvoll wie das erste und scheint nur eine Verlängerung zu sein.
Trotzdem regt es Mal wieder zum denken an ;-)
