Summary
Even before he could move, the full realisation of what confronted him blazed in the Pharaoh's mind. This was the foul and loathsome thing that Taita, with his clairvoyant powers, had smelt in the air. Maintained High Standards
My eager anticipation for this next volume in the series was certainly not disappointed. My attention was held throughout the amazing twists and turns of this dramatic novel and although I knew it would probably have a 'happy ending', the intervening story drew me in, capturing my imagination with satisfying, delightful escapism! So very well narrated!!!

Literacy issues
During the first chapters, "hoofs" were used incorrectly; the correct term is "hooves". Bit of confusion with roofs, I think. To those of us with qualifications in English Language, this looked not only poor proof-reading, but erratic as well!
Also, "less" used on several occasions, rather than the correct "fewer". Colloquial mistake, but should be recognised in literary work.
