About this listen

Max's return to his own world is like a meteor streaking across the sky for everyone to see.

Upon arriving home, he completes multiple tower floors in the tower solo and finds his friends inside, reuniting with them and learning that he has a child on the way with Tanila.

With a slight understanding of the true power out there and the need to help his team get stronger, Max also has a few loose ends that must be tied up.

Add to it a dragon egg that will hatch soon, the fact it's been almost a year since he left home and a worry he has had since the day he got his skill, Max sets his sight on finding those who tried to kill him.

Toss in a dwarven wedding that has been promised and the entire party is about to find themselves rushing around their world non-stop.

it was nice that this was more of a break volume instead of being out and out action. I understand that this may not be what fans of the previous 6 were waiting for, but I enjoyed it, the returning characters, the gods and their plans. the plans that the schemers who were behind the scenes maybe having their plans crumble around them or maybe not (listen to the book).
look forward to the next volume when it's released.
oh and Johnathan McClaims narration is still amazing, not that I need to tell you that.
would recommend.

Very middling, an OK start then it goes downhill fast. You can honestly skip chapters 49-57. The author has yet to learn what a synonym is. It's simply repetitive generic fantasy with some random retcons here and there. DON'T BUY!

Still poorly written, Still poorly voice acted.
