Max Hoste has known struggle since the day he acquired his black skill, Consume.

Now with a friend kidnapped, he and the rest of his party must find a way to save Cordellia before something happens to her. Making things harder is that Bob, his black skill, has vanished, locked away somewhere since they overrode the tower and brought Rakonath into it.

With all these problems about to come to a head, the truth is things are going to get much harder. The last tower floors are within sight and Tanila's pregnancy seems to be moving faster than expected. Can he save his friend, finish the tower and protect everyone he loves? Will he be able to defeat the tower and find out what lies beyond?

Well, if you are still here, that means you are enjoying this series.
It was a great and semi-predictable development, and although you might have sensed the direction of the story, there are quite a few surprises. The usual comic relief and occasional banter between the party members are still funny and got many chuckles from me. There was warmth to be found in the heartfelt development of friendships, brotherhood and relationships.
The narration….by this point, you must have gotten used to it, I, personally, don’t mind it that much but it still kind of lacks.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, and then some.
I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Don’t just take any review who says it’s trash and be done with it, sample it and meaby buy it, luckily, if you really don’t like it, you can refund it.
Have fun!

Really liked this Instalment as always, however I did notice a different narrator at the end. Please please please tell me that your not switching narrators because the guy at the end sounded terrible. It made the characters sound like children.

Good book as always

I have been really enjoying this series, the narrative the story the progression it's been Awsome and I have spent on credits to listen to the whole series because I couldn't wait for the credits to come around ive been too invested. I only have one issue, the narrator changed, I wish you had stuck with the original narator the new ones made it really difficult for me to carry on listening which is a shame I was thoroughly enjoying the series.
