THE BEST NARRATOR LINE UP EVER!!
When I tell you I ate this up and I need the next book IMMEDIATELY!!
The narrator lineup was *chef's kiss* including some of my all time favourite narrators and a couple new ones for me (which are now also favourites 🤭). I was kicking my feet and giggling every other chapter.
The MMC's in this book were all SO different but all equally enticing, I'm not ashamed to say I loved them all uniquely. I was swooning the minute Knox was introduced and don't get me started about the mouth on Cillian 🥵.. however, don't ask me to pick a favourite right now because I simply cannot 😭. Our FMC Hayden is down to earth and strong willed, I LOVE her.
I am absolutely hooked, I can't wait to continue this series!

Epic fantasy
Audio and book review
I have been looking for a new fantasy series and this one delivered in spades! The world building is done really well, there is an undertone of mystery throughout which will keep you wanting to know more. Hayden is a fun and likeable character- I loved her quiet strength and resilience. The men are all unique and bring something to the table- you have a golden retriever, a broody one, a Viking lookalike, an Alpha billionaire & a professor.
The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life- the Casting is incredible!

I was gripped from start to finish
If you like found family and why chose, this is the book for you.
I haven’t listened to a book for a while that I’ve just listened all the way through without stopping but I was so into the story. The chemistry between the characters and the way they protect their mate was addictive.
I don’t know how I’m going to wait for the next book or the one after. I’ve already pre ordered it.
The narration was also incredible so I’m really please I consumed it on audible!

I am so here for dragon shifters. This was so good and I really enjoyed the story and I can't wait for the next one. All the narrators did such a good job but Vanessa really stood out for me she's so amazing!!

Exceptional cast of narrators
The start of a new why choose paranormal trilogy from Tessa Hale as orphan Hayden arrives at Evergreen University and literally the first person she bumps into is football star Knox who feels an instant spark of something for the new girl on campus. He’s instantly intrigued and can’t wait to tell his fellow ‘brothers’ about the Violet-eyed girl and his suspicions about who and what she is.
I loved Twilight of Embers, I mean not one but five dragon shifters to swoon over and the start of a fantastic plot what’s not to love. Secrets abound and danger lurks round every corner for the heroine Hayden who has no idea of what she is or even that a paranormal world exists. All she knows for certain is that she’s attracted to five men, each and every one of them bringing something different. I loved that for the first time from Tessa there is more of a variation in the ages of the heroes. From the mature dominant businessman and leader of the horde Cillian and Maddox the stern and aloof professor to the three younger members and fellow students, Knox, on the surface an all American boy, his angry and moody twin Easton and lastly the tortured and scary looking Cael who falls for Hayden like a puppy but who won’t hesitate to ‘unalive’ anyone who threatens her. If you love great characters, fantastic plots and don’t mind cliff hangers then you won’t go wrong with this book.
For the first time, instead of a sole narration, Tessa Hale has opted to have multiple narrators for the audiobook of Twilight of Embers and what an exceptional cast it was. The performances from Vanessa Moyen, Joe Arden, Jason Clarke, Connor Crais, Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan were fantastic and really brought this story to life and made it easy to keep the various characters straight as I listened.
