Perfect introduction for children. Very well read

The tone was just right for children. They got some sense of the horrors of the war and the trenches but the touch was light enough but to frighten them away from learning more.

Fun history!

This, like the other titles in the series, is a fun romp through a bit of history. I highly recommend it!

9 year old loves Tony Robinson's books

My son loves these little books. It's too bad they aren't longer. Robinson does a good job of giving an overview of the subject of the book, and making it interesting with funny voices, sound effects, and little tidbits that delve in a little bit deeper (interesting quotes, etc.).
