Utterly speechless! Listen!!
I'd done all the books except this and WW2 and where silly and funny until this one... it was heart wrenching in place and shown warm and laughter between the soldiers but was, throughout whole the book, respectful.

Excellent
My 8 yr old daughter loves all the Horrible histories series tv & audio. I purchased this for a long drive we had so listened to it twice! I had my dad 83 in car too and he loved it too. These books really capture the audience especially children. My daughter has asd and Adhd and some books just dont cut it with her attention. Horrible histories do that. She sits and listens intently as the actors portray the characters in varied tones. More importantly my dad was listening instead of moaning about my driving. Excellent for child and seniors!

Boys dream of war and men dream of peace. Through humor and quirky facts the horror of the First World War and the pointlessness of it is brought home to young children
