Summary

There is nothing worse than being bored especially on a Sunday afternoon when it is raining! With that in mind, Auntie Joanna takes Tingle and Josh on an adventure to the land of Boredooom! There they discover the three different villages of Dull, Drab, and Dreary.

During the adventure, Tingle and Josh are amazed by how bland the children's lives are in the Land of Boredooom! After meeting the Yawners and The Grumpies, they come to realize how exciting and full of play their world is. Ultimately, the land of Boredooom teaches Josh and Tingle to use their imaginations and, when they are bored, to be creative and have fun!.

Cute kids story

This is the first book I’ve read/listened to by these authors and I would listen to another. It is a cute story.
The publisher’s summary covers it nicely so I won’t repeat. Although it is a part of a series, this is a stand-alone book.

This is the first book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Lily Partridge) and I would listen to another. She does quite well voicing the characters and does a good job with the “bored” inhabitants of Boredooom.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing. This is a great story for kids of all ages.

Great book

I listened to this with my kids and it was great. If they ever say they are bored again I will replay this book. I got this title for free in exchange for leaving an unbiased review. I think the narrator was good as well and put a lot of emotion in her reading.

Fun Young Children's Book!

I listened with my 11 year old daughter and we both thought this was super cute. It was definitely geared toward the younger children's reader, probably age 9 and under. I would definitely recommend to those younger kids that's enjoy the fairy tale type books. The narrator did a wonderful job and was a lot of fun to listen to.

Great Children's Book!

This is the third book in the Fun Fairy Tales series, but it stands alone. Tingle and Josh are bored. They tried to do anything that was interesting they could think of, but ran out of ideas. Their Aunt Joanna takes Tingle and Josh on an trip to the land of Boredooom where they visit the inhabitants of Dull, Drab, and Dreary. After this trip, the children are rejuvenated and their creativity is replenished. I thought the premise of the story was original and interesting. This is a great addition to my children's library. The narrator was great. Her British accent, voices, and her inflections added to the characters. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.
