About time...
As a male and a father of three young women, this programme is refreshing treatment of a natural and to be celebrated part of womanhood. The men's episode is a brilliant look at male attitudes this far. The second episode is a welcome space for women to share their experiences, and to educate the patriarchal society of the fundamental choices of women.
I am better educated about periods and all that is feminine that comes with it.

Menstruators
Maisie Hill keeps referring to women who have periods as "menstruators". This is dehumanising language. She is trying to be inclusive of transpeople but it is just incredibly alienating. If transpeople are allowed to decide what terms are and are not used to describe them, then it should be equally valid for women to reject the term "menstruators". I don't know any women who would want this term applied to them.

Conversation starter...
Excellent discussion of periods- insightful and intelligent and entertaining. Useful to be able to send to my adult son's and husband as way of informing and opening up a dialogue. A must for all humans!

Some interesting stuff but lack deeper insight
I agree it's good to talk about it but that seemed to be the main focal points and not really educational on periods and menstrual cycles in detail, thus I still feel that there is alot for me as a guy that I'm unsure about. A follow up podcast would be great.

Boys, SHUT UP
this podcast is very informative and interesting, covering social issues (such as the "second shift" of unpaid female chores in the home). What ruins it is the delivery - while I'm happy to hear from sympathetic men, these two try to out-paathise and out-perform each other, resulting in constant overlapping comments and talking over everyone, which makes them unintelligible. (Where is the producer/engineer in all this? Having worked in radio production, I would have stepped in immediately to moderate and stop the noise!) One thing that I found missing in all the information given was the fact that there is actually very little actual blood in a period - just enough to colour it. The rest is actually different uterine fluids: mucous and secretions!

Educational Period
Very informative and educational. Had to get comfortable with the conversation but after looking at it scientifically I became more at ease and was better able to understand the various problems and solutions.

Episode 1: Bloody Men: 2 stars
Three men have their knowledge of periods tested in this first episode of Their Will Be Blood.
I was surprised that this podcast started with men but it was very interesting to see their views and knowledge of periods. There were some very good questions from them about periods and how they can talk about it with their kids/significant other.
While some of the statistics in this episode were new, the majority of the common facts were known to me. I was expecting more information to be presented in this first episode.
Episode 2: Bleedin’ Society: 3 stars
This episode is with Gabby Edlin, founder and CEO of charitable organisation Bloody Good Period; comedian and #periodpositive founder Chella Quint; and YouTuber and sex educator Hannah Witton.
This episode was pretty interesting. I didn’t realize that period poverty was such a big problem in the UK. I know it is a problem in the US, especially considering 35 states in the USA have a tampon tax on menstruation products. Bloody Good Period isn’t an organization that I have heard of before (probably because I am in the US) but I am interested in learning more about them and their advocacy.
These three women make very good points on embracing your period and being more comfortable talking about it, especially with the children. I do wish this episode had been longer because I feel they rushed the discussion but it was still informative.

Decent
I thought this was a short zombie story, turns out it is about mensuration. I gave it a listen anyway and actually learned some stuff. Next time my partner starts talking cramps I am gonna blow her mind with what I learned! Good stuff written in a very light hearted way.

Can’t get into it
Just a bunch of trite, smarmy banter. Maybe if I had gotten further there might be so substance here but I just could not keep listening any more.

informative
I loved all of the issues addressed in both sides of the table. An open discussion about gender identity and period poverty was eye opening.

It's about menstruation
Wasted my time thinking it was the drama with the same title. Sophomoric , and it isn't easy to delete
