Very insightful and practical

Money always is a difficult topic, specially with the recession the last years. Learning how to manage your money should be a topic taught in school! Fortunately, audiobooks like this one exist so that we can learn about it and educate ourselves. I think that the book is an essential tool for anyone, but specially for young people that start to earn some money. I like how the audiobook is structed, with different checking accounts and how you should treat them. It comes packed with great advices! Thanks!

Engaging and informative.

Great work making this not-so-fun situation engaging. The steps are easy to follow and complete. It covers everything about managing money, but the nice part is it covers health, taxes, and other issues related to managing your money. It is an excellent guide to help young adults learn how and why to manage their money.

These are the sorts of things kids should learn

We teach kids a lot of pointless things at school (I feel as a school teacher I can say that) the one thing we don't teach is how to manage their money. As a maths teacher there are many ways I could use the curriculum to introduce money skills but I never have the time. Its a different world out there, we are in a debt based economy with so much people in debt. Don't let your kids fall into the same trap. Like all good things meant for kids, its very useful for adults too, made me have a look at my own habits.

A refreshing read

This audiobook came across as authentic primarily because the author wrote based on her experience. It was beautiful to hear her share her vulnerability and empathy with over 70% of Americans.

She has now condensed her advice into 5 steps which will prove invaluable to young adults. I feel that the information could also be useful to middle-aged adults who are still struggling to find their way through the finance maze. I enjoyed the chapter titled Christmas Savings Account. The advice here is to save for a sunny day – a unique concept. A really engaging book!

This is a really practical guide to money

This book helped me think about the toxic relationships in my life that are affecting my finances. I had not even thought that this is part of money management. That part was the hardest, next to customizing the plan provided to myself. I feel positively empowered by this book. It was time well-spent. PS: I need to close some bank accounts.

It is a Grind

I wish I had this book when I was young. I had a single mother who was bad with money. I knew how to spend money and not save it. I'm going to give this to my kids to study and make sure they delay instant gratification and automatically save every paycheck by paying themselves FIRST and THEN paying the bills. If you want your kids to be better with money. BUY THIS BOOK!

Lots of information about handling money

When I first started reading this book I thought it was too heavy for the younger audience the author wants to reach, but now that I have read the entire book, it is detailed and helps to learn money management throughout your life. I recommend reading it through once but then taking it step by step and learning how to handle your finances one day at a time,
