Story
Hi! I'm Charlie (DON'T call me Charlotte – ever!). History is boring, right? Wrong! The Victorians weren't all deadly dull and drippy. Lottie certainly isn't. She's eleven – like me – but she's left school and has a job as a nursery maid. Her life is really hard, just work work work, but I bet she'd know what to do about my mum's awful boyfriend and his wimpy little son. I bet she wouldn't mess it all up like I do ...

disappointed
What did you like best about The Werepuppy and The Werepuppy on Holiday? What did you like least?
I liked the fact that these books followed on from each other, allowing you to get to know the characters, and contained some humour.I least liked the dialogue which felt unrealistic for portraying how children/characters would really communicate and the narration was truly awful.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
There was very little expression, hardly any change in tone or style when portraying different characters. Narrator made it feel quite dated and old fashioned.
Do you think The Werepuppy and The Werepuppy on Holiday needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Possibly, although would not consider listening to any story by same narrator.
