I finished this book the week before Derek died Kate had such hope which is all you’d ever wish a loved one to have for you if you were in her position. Kate told her story so well she is an inspiration and her strength is amazing and tells her story so openly

This book opens your eyes to what people go through when someone falls seriously ill in the family. Kate held everything together at the expense of her own health until she realised nothing would ever be the same for any of them. Always telling herself how lucky they were as lots of people had lost their loved ones. What a kind strong and lovely person Kate is, really enjoyed this book.
