Yes, absolutely! She's a fantastic author. You cannot help but get involved in her story and sympathise with the characters.
What does Ruth Jones bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
She has a good expression and makes the story come alive.

Although it's a story that not many of us can relate to, the characters are very real, alive and true. The story has some unexpected twists, which makes it extra interesting.

It is an amazing story good for children and Adults. The small girl her friends her fake mother horrific school and her new friend Zed. Don’t forget the great aunt and the trunk. I recommend this book for you.

Eva ibbotson's books have been favorites of mine for years. unfortunately, the performance in this audio book rather killed it for me. the accents were inconsistent & there for distracting & the melody played in between each chapter was depressing

Really Lovely
I had never heard of this book until now, as a mother, and wish I had read it in my childhood. The memorable characters and mysterious storyline kept me and my son and daughter (9 and 8) fascinated.
