Excellent and typically modestly written

what a truly amazing man in a truly amazing time. Colonel Mike would be in my top 5 of dinner guest invites on my dream table.
I only have his yachting book left and will download today. Respect to you old timer. They sadly don't make the same calibre of Man in our modern age....

Fantastic insight on the Seychelles Affair

All of Col. Mike Hoare's books I've personally heard so far are incredibly written, eloquent and very interesting, they are truly a treasure.

Story of a Gentleman

What makes this story is that is was narrated by Mike Hoare himself. Hoare died recently in Durban at age 100.

Great Book

Fantastic story that reads more like fiction. My only criticism is there should have been more text on the actual coup itself more than the aftermath in prison. I was initially worried that Mike Hoare was reading the book however I needn’t have. He absolutely crushed it and if he wasn’t a former Mercenary he would have been a fine Audible narrator !!! I will definitely look for more books from Colonel Mike Hoare !!!!
