Entertaining romp along...
Good plot, interesting characters, although I guessed the 'villain' about halfway through. This didn't spoil my enjoyment of the twists and turns in this book though. However, I found the narrrator somewhat annoying. The reading was stilted, and paused in strange ways - and I found it incredibly distracting. Initially, I thought that the pauses in sentences was part of the character, but soon realised that this was his style ....shame, because he had a nice voice!

Best of the series so far
Really enjoyed this story, whizzed through it as the multiple secrets each character kept were exposed.

Absolutely Brilliant!
I don't usually write reviews!. Im not really starting now! Just to say I've read over 250 psych thrillers and 2nd to that, detective books which not usually so keen on! Im giving no details but this was absolutely brilliant! Best book I've read in years and I read some great ones! Highly Recommended! :))

loved!
less obvious villain as others, but still guessed it eventually. didn't matter though as was very gripping. lots of secrets, and lots of character depth. I'm neurodivergent and struggle to begin books but I always follow this narrator easily. really enjoyed this series would recommend

Brilliant
I wondered if I'd get into this story purely because I haven't heard from Dan Riley for a while but I was wrong. This was an intricately woven murder mystery that I have deeply enjoyed trying to solve along the way.

As good as it gets
This audio I found to be absorbing from beginning to end. The author has put together a good story which was strongly enhanced by the excellent narration. So much better than reading the book
